About Grandma Whimsy

Welcome to the Grandma Whimsy studio—a creative little corner inspired by all things flora and fauna. From trees, fungi, and wildflowers to birds and butterflies, the natural world is where much of the whimsy begins. Here you’ll find wearable art jewelry, whimsical watercolor paintings, and thoughtfully curated treasures gathered to bring a little wonder into everyday life.

Designing jewelry or rescuing charming finds from thrift shops, estate sales, and garage sales, Grandma Whimsy believes creativity begins with noticing the magic in ordinary things. Crafting and painting have long been a peaceful place for a busy or worrisome soul—a small corner where color and imagination can bloom, even if only for a little while.

Grandma Whimsy calls Indiana home and shares life with her husband Scott, two cheerful corgis named Llewie and Tinkerbell, a Frenchie named Quinnie Marie, and a lively flock of chickens who inspire her Coop de Jour watercolor series.

She’s also the proud grandma of Lilly, a creative and driven young woman, and Zoey, a spirited five-year-old who loves making colorful bracelets and bravely sampling new cuisine. Around here, family, animals, and a good sense of humor are part of everyday life—and a little whimsy is always welcome.
